The France Football Federation is considering suspending Karim Benzema from international selection, according to reports.
L'Equipe claims that the FFF will contemplate removing the Real Madrid forward from the ranks of the France national squad over his alleged involvement in a sex tape scandal surrounding teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
Reports have suggested that Didier Deschamps could drop Benzema for Euro 2016, but it is now claimed that responsibility over his involvement may be taken away from the national team coach altogether in order to not disrupt the rest of the squad.
French daily Le Parisien also reports that a provisional suspension is a possibility while Benzema faces the accusations against him, with an announcement potentially being made by FFF president Noel Le Graet next Thursday.
