Fulham boss Martin Jol is happy to settle for a point after his side's 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has admitted that he is pleased to settle for a point after his side's 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Despite the Cottagers going ahead through a Thomas Vermaelen own goal, the Belgian scored at the right end to earn Arsenal a point.

"We ended up with a draw. We would have loved a win but I would have settled for a draw before the game and I will settle for that now," Jol toldESPN.

"Sometimes we made it difficult for ourselves but we did well so I'm pleased.

"We'll get on with it and I think the points will come."

The draw has lifted Fulham up to 15th in the Premier League table.
