Alberto Gilardino has reportedly expressed his eagerness to return to Italy, just six months after he agreed a switch to Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.
Back in July, the 32-year-old accepted the invitation to continue his career with Evergrande following his release by Genoa.
However, despite having scored six goals in 17 appearances this term, the striker is keen to rejoin an Italian club during the January transfer window, according to CN24.
It is believed that both Inter Milan and Torino would be interested in signing the centre-forward, who has found the net on 19 occasions at senior international level.
