Guirane N'Daw is keen to join Ipswich Town on a permanent contract.

Guirane N'Daw has admitted that he would be happy to turn his loan move to Ipswich Town into a permanent one.

The 28-year-old, who spent time with Birmingham City last season, joined the Tractor Boys on a season-long loan basis from Saint-Etienne in the summer.

"I used to watch English football on the TV when I was younger and it was always my ambition to come over here and play," he told the club's official website. "It was an easy decision to come here to Ipswich when the opportunity came up. I want to play my football here. I think I have the physical abilities to do well in English football.

"I'm at Ipswich for the season and my first importance is to fight for the club, fight to get Ipswich up the table.

"I want to take it step by step but yes why not, if a chance came along to get a long-term contract here I would be happy. We will see."

N'Daw has made eight appearances for Ipswich so far this campaign.
