Italy manager Cesare Prandelli has claimed that he has every reason to be confident ahead of the next year's World Cup.
The Azzuri are currently top of qualifying Group B and Prandelli insists that he has the players in his squad to challenge in Brazil.
"I'm pretty optimistic," the 55-year-old coach told Rai Sport.
"We have at least five or six really interesting players – both for the technical values and their spirit when wearing the national team jersey."
Italy will also compete in the Confederations Cup, which begins in June.
