Juventus manager Antonio Conte has apologised for the half-time bust-up during their showdown with AC Milan.
Massimilano Allegri's side appeared to have scored twice, but a controversial refereeing decision to disallow the second overshadowed the first half of action, which led to a confrontation between both sides at the interval.
"These things happen," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I'm sorry that this match had too much tension.
"There was not a beautiful atmosphere for the purists. Things happened that were not football-related, and I did not like them.
"The best thing was the game itself, the rest should be improved in the future. I, for one, must also improve."
Meanwhile, Juventus remain one point behind Serie A leaders Milan, but have one game in hand.
