Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly called on Juventus to appoint Jose Mourinho as the club's new manager.
Juventus announced on Friday that Massimiliano Allegri would step down from his position after five seasons in charge, resulting in speculation regarding the Italian's replacement.
Antonio Conte has been linked with a return to Turin, while Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to have held talks with the Serie A giants.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo wants Juventus to make an approach for former Manchester United and Real Madrid manager Mourinho.
The report suggests that Ronaldo is keen to be reunited with his compatriot and ex-boss, with the story emerging at the same time as the 34-year-old allegedly being against working with Conte.
Mourinho has been out of work since leaving Old Trafford in December.
