Barcelona are reportedly willing to take a loss of around £35m on Philippe Coutinho in order to get the Brazilian off their books this summer.
Coutinho only joined Barca from Liverpool in January of last year, moving to Camp Nou for an initial fee of £103m which could rise to £142m.
However, the Spanish giants have been underwhelmed by his performances so far, and the playmaker has started just 16 La Liga games for Ernesto Valverde's side so far this season.
Goal.com reports that Barcelona have now dropped their asking price to around €80m (£68.8m) as they look to cut their losses when the transfer window reopens.
Manchester United had been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, but he has reportedly now decided against a return to the Premier League.
Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have therefore emerged as the frontrunners for Coutinho's signature, although the latter could be put off by his wage demands.
