Manchester United, Manchester City 'to lose out in Federico Chiesa race'

Juventus reportedly lead the race to sign Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Manchester City.

Juventus are reportedly leading the race to sign Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa.

The 21-year-old, who is an 11-time Italy international, has scored 12 times and contributed eight assists in 31 appearances for Fiorentina during the 2018-19 campaign.

Manchester United and Manchester City have both previously been linked with a move for the attacker, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are in pole position to win the race.

Chiesa, who has found the back of the net on six occasions in Serie A this season, has a contract with La Viola until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in a player who could fetch £70m this summer.
