The hosts made the breakthrough with 42 minutes on the clock when Antonio Candreva calmly slotted in Balde Keita's cross from close range.

However, Lazio were reduced to 10 men just before the hour mark as Lucas Biglia was shown his second yellow card of the afternoon.

Despite having a numerical disadvantage, the home side made sure of the points on 73 minutes through Senad Lulic's powerful finish.
