Leeds United's new centre-back Sol Bamba has revealed that fellow Ivorian Max Gradel told him that he would "love" a move to Elland Road.
Bamba, who joined Leeds on loan over the weekend from Palermo, said that he had been contacted by former Leeds player Gradel.
"[Gradel] text me two days ago and said he'd heard about my move and he was happy," Bamba told the club website.
"He said I will love it here. He said the fans will be good with me if I do the business.
"He told me all the good things about the club and that gives me even more positive things about the club."
Bamba could make his debut on Saturday lunchtime as struggling Leeds target their second win in a row against nearby Huddersfield Town.
