Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has said that West Ham United have "improved in their creative play" this season, as the Whites prepare to face the Hammers in the Premier League on Saturday.
David Moyes's side have made a solid start to the 2021-22 campaign, picking up eight points from five Premier League matches to sit eighth in the table.
Meanwhile, the London club will enter this weekend's clash at Elland Road off the back of a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Bielsa is expecting his team to be seriously tested by the Hammers, who were victorious in both Premier League meetings between the two sides last term.
"West Ham are the same team as last season," Bielsa told reporters. "I see they have improved in their creative play, they have a very stable manner in which they play and the majority of the players are better this year than they were last year."
Leeds, who beat Fulham on penalties in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, have only picked up three points from their opening five matches of the new season to sit 17th in the division.
