Leeds United boss Brian McDermott: 'Draw would have been fair against Brighton'

Brian McDermott thinks that a 0-0 draw would have been a fair result against Brighton & Hove Albion last night.

Brian McDermott has said that Leeds United deserved a point against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship last night.

Brighton took the points thanks to Leonardo Ulloa's second-half goal but McDermott said that the game had "0-0 written all over it".

"There was nothing in the game," McDermott told the club's website. "It wasn't a good goal to concede, but I thought the game had 0-0 written all over it.

"We didn't have enough controlled possession after they scored. It was a tactical game and they managed to nick it. We didn't create enough chances, but neither did they really."

McDermott is due to meet prospective Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino today to discuss his future at the club.
