The Football Association has confirmed that it is investigating Cameron Jerome's claims that he was racially abused by Giuseppe Bellusci in Norwich City's match with Leeds United.
On-loan Canaries striker Jerome has accused the Italian of directing a racist slur at him in the first half of their 1-1 Championship draw at Carrow Road on Tuesday.
An FA spokesman told PA: "I can confirm we are investigating this allegation."
Referee Mark Clattenburg spoke to both managers, Neil Adams and Darko Milanic, in the aftermath of the incident and will submit a report to the FA, after which action may be taken against the Whites defender.
Bellusci has penned a four-year contract at Leeds after initially joining on loan from Serie A outfit Catania in August, while Jerome has scored seven Norwich goals since signing temporarily from Stoke City.
