Leeds United will reportedly reignite their interest in Wigan Athletic youngster Sean McGurk when the January transfer window opens for business.
The Whites were linked with the 17-year-old over the summer but could not come to an agreement with the Latics, who are now playing in the third tier of English football.
According to The Sun, Leeds remain determined to sign the English attacker and will attempt to complete a deal in the winter window.
McGurk is yet to represent Wigan's first team but has scored twice in four appearances for the club's Under-18 outfit.
Leeds signed Joe Gelhardt from the League One side over the summer, and the 18-year-old has been a regular for the Premier League team's Under-23s in 2020-21.
Marcelo Bielsa's side have made a positive start to the current season, picking up 10 points from six matches to occupy fourth position in the Premier League table.
