Jose Mourinho has congratulated Leicester City for winning the Premier League title one year after the Portuguese coach lifted the trophy with Chelsea.
The 53-year-old, who was sacked by Chelsea in December, replaced Claudio Ranieri at Stamford Bridge in his first stint with the Blues in 2004.
In 2010, Mourinho described Ranieri as a "loser", but has given his congratulations after the Italian transformed Leicester from relegation battlers to English champions for the first time in the club's 132-year history.
Mourinho told CAA Sports: "I want to congratulate everyone connected to Leicester - players, staff, owners and fans.
"I lost my title to Claudio Ranieri and it is with incredible emotion that I live this magic moment in his career."
The Foxes' title win was confirmed last night when Chelsea restricted Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Leicester captain Wes Morgan will lift the trophy with his teammates following Saturday evening's match against Everton.
