Nigel Pearson has described the awarding of a penalty to Tottenham Hotspur in their win over his Leicester City side as a "dubious decision" by the referee.
The sides were level at 2-2 when the home side were awarded a spot kick, which Harry Kane converted to complete his hat-trick and put Spurs back ahead in their 4-3 victory at White Hart Lane.
"The first two goals are disappointing and another dubious decision. It's difficult to accept another contentious decision not going our way," the club's Twitter account quotes the Foxes manager as saying.
"Our players gave everything. Spurs scored four but will feel relieved to win. It's nine to go now, it's hard to take.
"We conceded four today, so I can't go over the top about our performance, but we played with a lot of quality at time."
The result keeps Leicester at the bottom of the table, seven points adrift of safety.
