Nigel Pearson: 'Leicester City are not safe yet'

Nigel Pearson urges his Leicester City players to keep their focus after a third straight victory against Swansea City lifted them off the bottom of the table.

Nigel Pearson has told his Leicester City squad to guard themselves against complacency after they made it three straight wins with a 2-0 victory over Swansea City on Saturday.

Maximum points from the last nine on offer have given the Foxes a huge boost in their quest for Premier League survival, and Pearson has urged his players to maintain their form.

He told the club's official website: "The danger is people thinking the job's done. There's a lot of work still to do. We've got to try to keep this run going.

"To win three on the trot in the Premier League is very hard, so we're delighted. Tactically, it was an interesting game and we dealt with a lot [from Swansea].

"Our fans created a fantastic atmosphere today. We have four out of our six games at home and more of that gives us a great chance."

Pearson's side travel to fellow relegation scrappers Burnley next week.
