Sevilla have confirmed that a deal has been agreed for Vicente Iborra to join Leicester City this summer.
The former Premier League champions will reportedly part with £15m to sign the 29-year-old, who has been part of the Spanish club for the past four years.
Leicester faced competition from West Bromwich Albion and newly-demoted Sunderland, but the Foxes have managed to get there first.
In a statement, Sevilla confirmed the deal and invited Iborra, who began his career at Levante, to hold a farewell ceremony with the club's supporters.
"Sevilla and Leicester City have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Vicente Iborra," the statement read. "The player will travel to Leicester to complete a medical examination and sign his contract. Once the transfer is concluded, he will return to Seville to publicly bid farewell to the fans."
Iborra could become Leicester's second signing of the window following the arrival of Harry Maguire from Hull City.
