Southampton have reportedly accepted an offer of £15m from Leicester City for Jannik Vestergaard.
The Denmark international - who was previously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur - is understood to be on a four-man Foxes defensive shortlist following Wesley Fofana's fractured fibula.
Ozan Kabak, Issa Diop and Stefan de Vrij are also rumoured to have been eyed up by Brendan Rodgers, with the latter's agent Mino Raiola supposedly trying to engineer the Dutchman a move to the Premier League.
Now, the Daily Echo reports that Southampton have accepted a £15m bid for Vestergaard's services from Leicester, with the centre-back due to become a free agent in 2022.
Vestergaard has enjoyed an extended break since featuring six times for Denmark en route to the Euro 2020 semi-finals and was in attendance for Southampton's 3-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao in a recent friendly.
The 29-year-old boasts four goals from 79 appearances in a Southampton shirt since arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2018, with three of those coming in last season's Premier League.
