Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could miss Real Madrid, Chelsea games

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could miss three games that may prove pivotal to the club's season.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could be out until late November with a persistent calf problem, missing a trio of key games.

The England international faces being sidelined for the Reds' meetings with Newcastle United, Real Madrid and Chelsea, according to The Mirror.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has already admitted that Sturridge is likely to be absent for this weekend's clash with Newcastle, but is yet to comment on the possibility of him facing Chelsea or Real.

Sturridge, who has not made a senior appearance since August, is expected to return to action in Liverpool's Premier League showdown with Crystal Palace on November 23.
