Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has called on his side to improve their consistency following their 5-0 win over Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Reds produced a memorable European away performance to all but confirm their place in the quarter-finals of the competition with a game still to spare, inflicting a first home defeat of the season on Porto in the process.
However, Liverpool have also suffered disappointing losses against the likes of Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion since the turn of the year, and Henderson has admitted that the Reds cannot afford to let their performances drop against opposition they are expected to beat.
"It doesn't really matter who gets praise, but it was a whole team performance right from the goalkeeper to the front," he told the club's official website.
"I felt everybody did their job really well and that's why you win how we did. We need to do that more consistently, every week, no matter who we're playing.
"That's easier said than done at times, but that's why we've got to try to do and we look forward to the next few games."
Liverpool's next match sees them host West Ham United next Saturday.
