Liverpool's Jon Flanagan: 'Premier League title rivals are worried about us'

Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan insists that his side's Premier League title rivals are "worried" about the Reds following their victory over Manchester United.

Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan believes that the club's Premier League title rivals will be looking over their shoulders following his side's victory over Manchester United.

The Reds are second in the table, four points adrift of leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

The Merseyside outfit's title chances have been boosted following an emphatic 3-0 win over United at Old Trafford, but Flanagan has insisted that he and his teammates are not getting carried away.

"Momentum is building," Flanagan told the Liverpool Echo. "I'm sure the other clubs up there will be worried after this result but we are just concentrating on ourselves.

"We all believe we can do it. We just need to keep pushing on. All the lads know we haven't achieved anything yet."

Liverpool will take on Cardiff City away in their next league encounter this Saturday.
