Liverpool have stepped up their interest in Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas, according to a report.
The Daily Star claims that the Premier League club have made an enquiry about the 27-year-old, who will feature for Costa Rica at the World Cup finals in Brazil in the summer.
Navas, who has been in impressive form for Levante in La Liga this season, reportedly has an £8m buyout clause in his contract, which runs out in June 2015.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers wants to sign Navas to provide more competition to his first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Navas has been playing for Levante since 2011.
