Jurgen Klopp wary of Crystal Palace threat

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits that he is wary of the counter-attacking threat that Crystal Palace will pose at Anfield on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp has warned his Liverpool squad of the threat that Crystal Palace will pose on the counter-attack when the Eagles visit Anfield on Sunday.

Palace ran out 3-1 winners last season in Steven Gerrard's last home game with his boyhood club, and Klopp has said that he is wary of Alan Pardew's side ahead of the match.

The German told reporters: "Crystal Palace are difficult to play against. They're really tall, and you have to play special. We know about their transition game, their plan, and we try to be prepared.

"It's not a big difference, because we played against Chelsea who were very organised and deep, and we played against Rubin Kazan too who were the same. If we have the ball, Palace will do something similar. We have to be ready."

Klopp is unbeaten since taking over Reds boss last month, and the Reds' have not tasted defeat in their last 12 games in all competitions.
