Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah will be aiming to join an elite crowd of Premier League foreign players when the Reds welcome Norwich City to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Egypt international already has 24 goals and nine assists to his name from all competitions in the 2021-22 season, with 16 of his strikes and all of his assists coming in Premier League action.
As well as closing in on the 150-goal mark for Liverpool - currently sitting on 149 for Jurgen Klopp's side - Salah could emulate his African counterpart Drogba by setting up another on Saturday.
Should the ex-Chelsea man provide an assist this weekend, it will mark the third time that he has posted double-figure goals and assists in the Premier League, previously doing so in 2017-18 and 2019-20.
Drogba has also achieved that feat three times and is currently one of two non-English players to have done so in the Premier League, with Eric Cantona managing four seasons of double-figure goals and assists.
Salah's 24th goal of the season came in Wednesday's 2-0 Champions League last-16 first-leg win over Inter Milan, and he scored one and set up two more in a 3-0 win over Norwich at Carrow Road back in August.
