Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that it is "important" for striker Luis Suarez to be happy at Anfield.
The Uruguayan international recently insisted that "nothing is going to happen" with regards to a possible summer exit.
"To know that he's happy is important, like it is with all of our players," Rodgers told reporters. "It's very important that we have players here that are content, happy and focused on Liverpool."
The Northern Irishman also revealed that he will be trying to strengthen the squad in order to cope with the demands of Champions League football next season.
"For us, going forward, a sense of the future, we know we have to strengthen our squad," Rodgers added. "We're in the Champions League next year, which will be great.
"But we want to be in every competition and challenging on all fronts - that clearly means that we have to strengthen the depth of our squad."
Liverpool are two points clear at the top of the Premier League table with as many games left to go.
