Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min insists that it is still a three-horse race for the Premier League title alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has insisted that it remains a three-horse race for the Premier League title.

Liverpool currently sit five points clear at the top of the table with 14 games remaining, while champions Manchester City have been their closest challengers for much of the campaign.

However, both of the top two dropped points in midweek while Spurs overcame Watford, and Son insists that his side are still in contention for a first top-flight title since 1961.

"I don't care that people are saying Liverpool or Man City. We are still there, we're going for it," Son is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"We'll see what is going to happen at the end of the season. They're very good sides like us. We have to just focus on ourselves. Every single game, get three points, that's most important. The season is still long.

"We don't want to think about it. So many things can happen, you can't even imagine. We just believe in our own games, get as many points as possible, and see what happens at the end of the season."

Spurs now sit two points adrift of Man City and five behind leaders Liverpool.
