Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly informed Andy Carroll that he does not feature in his immediate plans for the club.
The England international has been the subject of loan interest from Newcastle United and West Ham United over the previous two days as speculation regarding his future at Anfield grew.
Despite being informed of the situation by Rodgers, the 23-year-old still wants to prove himself in a red shirt and does not want a permanent transfer, according to Sky Sports News.
However, the striker would reluctantly accept a season-long loan move.
Another unnamed London-based side are also said to be interested in Carroll's services.
