Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has reportedly indicated that he is willing to sacrifice a bonus payment of £13m in order to seal a move to Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are said to be edging ever nearer to completing the transfer of the Brazilian international, with a total fee of £140m being reported.
The two clubs are allegedly still in negotiations over add-on clauses, which Liverpool want to be based on appearances and trophies, but it appears that Coutinho is prepared to do what he can to secure the switch.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 25-year-old has said that he will turn down the chance to earn £13m in bonuses to give Barcelona more leeway to complete a deal with Liverpool.
The reports suggests that Coutinho will be able to recoup any money lost through sponsorship from Nike, who make the Barcelona kit and recently leaked the player's potential shirt number at Camp Nou.
