Borussia Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl has addressed speculation surrounding Jude Bellingham's future.
The midfielder joined Dortmund in 2020 and has three years left to run on his current contract, however, his future at the club has recently been called into question.
A recent report indicated that Bellingham has a verbal agreement in place to join Liverpool in the future, with Liverpool working on a deal to sign the England international in 2023.
While the Reds may have reached an agreement with the player, they still need to agree a deal with Dortmund, who are keen to keep the 19-year-old after rejecting a number of approaches this summer.
With Bellingham's future at the Bundesliga club appearing to be uncertain, Dortmund direct Kehl has addressed the transfer speculation.
As quoted by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kehl told Sky90: "I hope that Jude Bellingham will stay at BVB beyond 2023. I can see he feels super comfortable with us."
The Englishman, who has also been linked with Real Madrid, has started all five of Dortmund's games in all competitions this season, scoring once in the DFB-Pokal win over 1860 Munich.
