Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move to sign Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
With Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain currently injured, Liverpool are believed to be looking to add a midfielder to their squad before the transfer window closes.
They have been linked with the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Marcos Llorente and Jude Bellingham, but Neves also appears to be under consideration.
According to 90min, Liverpool have identified a couple of midfield targets, including the Portugal international who has two years left on his Wolves contract.
Manchester United were previously credited with showing an interest in Neves, but Wolves indicated that they were confident of keeping the 25-year-old for the current season.
Konrad Laimer is also regarded as another option for Liverpool, with his RB Leipzig contract set to expire next summer.
