Liverpool have reportedly started to have doubts over completing a deal to sign Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir.
Since the end of the season, Liverpool have been heavily linked with the France international and it had been expected that a move would be completed before the World Cup.
However, according to The Telegraph, two days of fitness tests have resulted in the club's medical team developing doubts over whether a £53m transfer should be finalised.
The report claims that the Merseyside giants are not prepared to disclose the nature of the issue, but it is significant enough for the Premier League outfit to hold off on the deal for now.
Fekir has made 88 appearances across the last two seasons but the 24-year-old has suffered a serious knee injury in the past.
