Liverpool will battle Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Valencia's Ferran Torres, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to battle Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Valencia's Ferran Torres.

The 19-year-old, who came through the academy at the Mestalla, has made 10 appearances for Los Che this season.

Torres will see his current deal expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, though, and Dortmund have recently been credited with an interest in the Spain Under-21 international.

According to Bild, Liverpool are also very much in the race for the right-sided attacker, who could allegedly be available for as little as £17m in next summer's transfer window due to his contract situation.

Torres has been involved in all but one of Valencia's 10 La Liga matches at the start of the new season, and the teenager also featured against Ajax in the Champions League towards the start of this month.
