Liverpool have reportedly offered RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner a five-year contract as they close in on a deal for the Germany international.
The Reds continue to be strongly linked with a move for the Germany international, who has scored 27 times in 33 appearances for his Bundesliga side during the 2019-20 campaign.
Werner is allegedly determined to join Liverpool this summer despite interest from elsewhere, although the striker wants guarantees over playing time at Anfield before agreeing a move.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Jurgen Klopp's side have now offered the German a five-year contract on wages of €8m (£6.8m) a year plus bonuses.
Werner's expected arrival could see either Roberto Firmino or Mohamed Salah leave the Reds this summer, with the former said to be interesting Bayern Munich and the latter Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old's release clause in his Leipzig contract was believed to be €58m (£49.1m), but a recent report claimed that he could be available for just €30m (£25.2m) ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
