Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The 23-year-old, who has scored 27 times in 33 appearances at club level this season, continues to be strongly linked with a move to Liverpool ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Werner is allegedly determined to join the Reds ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, although he is reportedly looking for guarantees over playing time before committing to a move.
According to Tuttosport, though, Jurgen Klopp's side are unlikely to have a free run at the Germany international as Inter are also expressing an interest.
The Italian giants could be in the market for a new centre-forward this summer as Lautaro Martinez continues to be linked with a big-money switch to Barcelona.
Werner has contributed 88 goals in 147 appearances for Leipzig since arriving from Stuttgart in 2016.
