Liverpool are interested in signing Fluminense midfielder Andre in the January transfer window, according to a report.
Jurgen Klopp oversaw a significant midfield reshuffle during the summer with Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch all making the move to Anfield on permanent deals.
The midfield quartet have settled in quickly on the red side of Merseyside, particularly Szoboszlai and Mac Allister who have started in all eight of Liverpool's Premier League games this season, with Klopp's side sitting fourth in the table.
Both Endo and Gravenberch have been forced to settle for a peripheral role in the early stages of this season, but they have started in Liverpool's first two Europa League matches, with the latter scoring his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Union SG last week.
Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are other midfield options at Klopp's disposal, but the German boss is believed to be keen to strengthen his midfield further in the winter window.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are set to reignite their interest in Fluminense's Andre after having multiple bids for the 22-year-old rejected in the summer.
Fluminense refused to part ways with the Brazilian midfielder this summer as they are still competing in the Copa Libertadores, with a final against Boca Juniors scheduled to take place on November 4.
Andre acknowledged last month that "it is normal to receive offers" from other clubs, but insisted that he is "happy" at Fluminense and is focused fully on the current campaign.
The Bahia-born midfielder joined Fluminense at the age of 12 before making his professional debut for the club in September 2020, and he has since developed into a first-team regular.

Andre was named the Brasileiro Best Newcomer in 2021 before being selected in the Brasileiro Team of the Year the following year.
Fluminense's No.7 has made a total of 156 appearances at club level in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
Andre has started 47 of his 48 appearances in all tournaments so far this season and has established a reputation as a tough-tacking midfielder having already picked up 14 yellow cards and two reds cards.
The Brazilian earned his first international cap for the senior team in June, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-2 friendly defeat to Senegal, and he has since been selected in the latest squad for World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay this month.
Andre, who is believed to be valued in excess of £25m, is under contract with Fluminense until December 2026.
