Liverpool are reportedly ready to loan Raheem Sterling to Swansea City.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wants the 18-year-old to be playing regular Premier League football, although it is something he cannot guarantee Sterling at Anfield.
The Reds have a good relationship with the Swans, and Rodgers, who used to be the manager at the Liberty Stadium, is prepared to offload the teenager to his former club on a short-term deal, according to the Sunday People.
The youngster was thrust into the side last season as Rodgers operated with a thread-bare squad, but Rodgers recently suggested that Sterling was not yet a fully-fledged member of the first team.
Sterling is said to be keen on the move, with a place in the England World Cup squad a possibility, should he impress with the Welsh side.
