Report: Manchester City, Liverpool keen on Newcastle United's Rolando Aarons

Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in signing Newcastle United's 19-year-old winger Rolando Aarons, according to reports.

Manchester City and Liverpool are in the running to sign Newcastle United youngster Rolando Aarons, according to reports.

The winger, who celebrated his 19th birthday on Sunday, signed a professional contract at St James' Park at the end of last season, with reports claiming that it runs to the end of the current campaign.

According to the Shields Gazette, the Magpies are yet to open talks with Aarons over a new deal, with City and Liverpool closely monitoring the situation.

Aarons, who has scored two goals so far this season, is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
