Inter Milan reportedly remain locked in discussions with Georginio Wijnaldum's agent over a free transfer for the Liverpool midfielder.
The 30-year-old is into the final few months of his Anfield contract and has been free to speak to foreign clubs since January.
Wijnaldum looks certain to depart Anfield in July, with a move to Barcelona - where he would reunite with ex-Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman - looking a formality for a long time.
However, Inter have recently emerged as possible contenders to sign the Dutchman and, according to Calciomercato, they have devised a clear strategy to win the race for his signature.
The Nerazzurri will supposedly continue discussing terms with Wijnaldum's agent and hope to have an agreement in place soon.
