Report: Watford interested in Mario Balotelli

Watford reportedly express an interest in signing Italian striker Mario Balotelli from Liverpool.

Watford have reportedly expressed an interest in signing out-of-favour Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

The Italy international has been training away from Brendan Rodgers's first team after struggling to make an impact during his first season with the club, scoring just once in the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports Italia, the 25-year-old is keen to stay in England, resulting in the top-flight newcomers plotting a move for the striker.

Balotelli joined Liverpool from AC Milan last summer, appearing in 16 league matches for the club.
