Sporting Lisbon have reportedly made an approach to sign Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho on loan in January.
Camacho is yet to make a first-team appearance for Liverpool so far this season, but he has been named in the matchday squad on three occasions.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the 18-year-old is now on the radar of Sporting, who previously had him in their youth ranks before his move to England.
Camacho joined Liverpool from Manchester City in 2016 and has impressed during the club's UEFA Youth League campaign so far this season.
A number of Championship clubs are also thought to be interested in the versatile youngster's services and could follow Sporting in making loan bids when the transfer window reopens on Tuesday.
Liverpool are understood to be willing to consider a temporary exit for the Portugal Under-20 international, who is able to play at full-back, in midfield or in attack.
