Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly joined rivals Liverpool in the race to sign Turkish goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
The 23-year-old has established himself as Trabzonspor's first-choice goalkeeper, starting all seven of their matches so far this season and also breaking onto the international scene earlier this year.
Cakir's performances for his club are understood to have attracted the interest of Liverpool, who are in the market for goalkeeping depth following Alisson Becker's injury at the start of this season.
However, Ajansspor reports that Wolves are also now planning to keep tabs on the shot-stopper as they eye potential cover for Rui Patricio.
The report also claims that Nuno Espirito Santo's side will send scouts to watch Cakir's compatriot Gokhan Akkan, who keeps goal for Caykur Rizespor.
Akkan, 24, has helped Rizespor to win two and draw one of their three matches in the Turkish Super Lig so far this season, keeping one clean sheet in the process.
