Former Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng has warned his old club that they will not be returning to Munich for the Champions League final later this year.
The £13m defender, who swapped Manchester for Munich this summer having spent just one season in the Premier League, does not rate City's chances of going all the way in their debut season.
"I do not see them getting to the final because there are others. We have the better team," Boateng said.
"They're a huge squad and the team had no sense of togetherness."
City face Bayern Munich tonight in one of the showcase fixtures of this year's group stage.
