Martin Demichelis has called on his Manchester City teammates to "play with aggression" when they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Blues must beat the German champions at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow night if they want to give themselves a chance of making it through to the last 16 of the competition.
City have underperformed so far in Group E, with just two points from a possible 12 leaving them rooted to the bottom of the standings. Meanwhile, Bayern have already qualified thanks to four consecutive wins.
"On Tuesday it's a question of being straight at it and putting in our best performance, looking to control the game and play with aggression," former Bayern defender Demichelis is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"I know the German mentality is always the same. Germans work as they think and I'm sure they'll come here to win. It won't be an easy task."
Demichelis has scored one goal in 14 appearances for Manchester City so far this season.
