Manchester City's David Silva: 'We will keep getting better under Pep Guardiola'

David Silva claims that Manchester City will keep "improving" under new manager Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City playmaker David Silva has insisted that he and his teammates will keep "improving" under manager Pep Guardiola.

The two-time Premier League champions have a 100% record this season so far having won five games in all competitions.

Guardiola has won 21 trophies in his eight years of management, and Silva is confident that under his leadership, the team will keep thriving.

"The team is improving every game - we're showing that on the pitch," Silva told reporters. "We created a lot of goalscoring opportunities and we hope to keep improving.

"We have our own style. We have good players who like to have the ball, and we also have fast players so we can play on the counter. I think we're improving every day and that's good for the team."

After the international break, City will face local rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on September 10.
