Manchester City 'earmark' Oldham Athletic as potential feeder club

Manchester City reportedly eye Oldham Athletic as a possible feeder club to send youngsters to on loan.

Manchester City will reportedly send their young players to League One side Oldham Athletic to gain experience.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini is said to be keen on the idea of having a feeder club in the Football League to send his youngsters to and nearby Oldham are believed to be a favourite.

According to the Western Gazette, Oldham manager Lee Johnson, 32, has held meeting with City owner Sheikh Mansour.

The Latics, who signed City youngster Ellis Plummer on loan last month, are currently 14th in League One.
