Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has described West Ham United as his "birthplace" in English football ahead of today's match at Upton Park.
Tevez started his career in English football with the Hammers in 2006, before moving on to Manchester United and then City.
"I have very good memories [of West Ham] because it was my first club in Europe. I'm very happy to be returning to the club that [you] could say was my birthplace [in English football]," the Argentina international told City's website.
City are a point behind Premier League leaders Chelsea and could be top of the tree by the end of today.
