Crystal Palace have reportedly opened negotiations with Manchester City over a move for teenager Morgan Rogers.
The forward spent last season on loan in League One with Lincoln City, scoring six goals in 28 appearances as the Imps reached the playoff final before losing to Blackpool.
Rogers's spell in the third tier has put him on the radar of a number of top clubs and Patrick Vieira is keen to make him his first signing at Selhurst Park.
According to the Daily Mail, the new Eagles boss wants to lower the average age of the Palace squad and 18-year-old Rogers would certainly contribute towards that.
The report adds that City would ask for £7m as well as a sell-on percentage, as the winger is tipped to have a very bright future.
Born in the West Midlands, Rogers signed for West Bromwich Albion at the age of eight before being snapped up by Manchester City two years ago after playing against them in the FA Youth Cup semi-finals.
Rogers has been capped 37 times by England at youth level, most recently by the Under-18s.
