Manchester City could reportedly face competition from Borussia Dortmund for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguay international has been in scintillating form for the Portuguese giants this term, racking up 11 goals and two assists from 16 games in all tournaments.
Nunez's form has supposedly attracted the attention of Man City, although Benfica are thought to be demanding a whopping £129m to sanction a sale.
According to Record, Dortmund have also entered the race for the 22-year-old's signature as they plan for life without Erling Braut Haaland.
Haaland is widely expected to leave Dortmund when his £68m release clause kicks in next summer, and the report adds that Nunez's agent has already met with a Dortmund representative.
Nunez is contracted to Benfica until 2025 and boasts 25 goals and 14 assists from 60 appearances for the club in total.
